It is great to have Anne back with us in Ruan N.S coaching us on the fundamental movements of sport!
Hurling is of huge interest to the boys and girls in 1st and 2nd class and our claw catch has certainly improved.
We love to see Anne coming and we practice our skills in school and at home between sessions!
We are learning so much with Magda in our gymnastics classes.
We are dancing, rolling, tumbling and cartwheeling!
It is great fun while also learning a new skill!
We really enjoyed science week in 1st and 2nd Class.
We did different experiments throughout the week, but our favourite was definitely the coke explosion!
We all took turns stacking the Mentos into the tube, and then Maeve got to let them go and RUN as fast as she could, to escape the explosion!
We had great fun in 1st and 2nd Class learning all about different types of houses and homes.
We discussed the different houses we lived in and talked to our partner about the houses they lived in.
We learned about detached houses, terraced houses, bungalows, two story houses and cottages.
We compared houses we live in now, to houses from the past.
Then we made 3D models of houses to make our own village!
